PROJECT INFO:
This historical structure in downtown Royal Oak serves as Bamboo's second coworking location in the metro Detroit area. Low floor-to-floor heights presented GreenPath with considerable acoustical, infrastructural, and aesthetic challenges, which were solved with strategic space planning, innovative material choices, and building systems designed with lower ceiling heights in mind. Private offices, meeting rooms, kitchenettes, and collaboration areas surround a grand stair with tiered seating, which serves as the aesthetic focal point and main circulation route through the space. Bamboo provides members with spaces and amenities that support activities ranging from individualized tasks to community engagement and events.
